West Oz Kiteboarding have been teaching since 2000 and update their gear each season to give you the best lesson experience on the best gear possible.

Our School operates at Shoalwater Bay (on the mainland near Penguin Island) every day from October to March (weather dependent).

All instructors are qualified through the IKO with extensive kiteboarding, windsurfing and wakeboarding experience.


Location:
Just 35 minutes from Perth CBD. Shoalwater Bay is on Safety Bay Road, which runs off the Kwinana Freeway.

Bus and Train also come to Rockingham with pick-up from the Station available by prior arrangement (or you can catch the bus to Penguin Island)

Prices:
Level 1- Ground Control - 2 hour lesson- $200 pp

Equipment setup, wind direction, safety systems.
Piloting kite at top of window with short & long lines, then from right to left on edge of the window.
Rigging a 4 line kite and launching and landing at the edge of the window assisted.
Piloting in the power zone and untwisting the lines.
Landing the kite alone and walking to the kite.
Body dragging.

All of our lessons are personal with a maximum of 2 students at a time.

Lessons are held at Shoalwater approx 35 minutes south of Perth WA (for directions see location).

We also have accommodation for $40pp per night when you take this course (very popular over 2 straight days).
