In existence since the conception of the sport Cyprus-Wind Kitesurfing Pro Center is also the longest running kitesurfing school in Cyprus. Founded in 1999 by Cyprus kitesurfing pioneer Christophe Meletiou the school evolves constantly keeping our instruction methods current and using state of the art teaching equipment.

We offer lessons for the beginner with no water-sports experience, up to the well seasoned kitesurfer that wants to take his kitesurfing to the next level.

A majority of our novices get up and going within 3 lessons. So what makes us different and how do we achieve faster learning ?

Where exactly is Pissouri bay Cyprus Wind kitesurfing pro center?

Pissouri bay beach front is where we are based and where all our courses take place but adverse wind directions may sometimes lead us to other nearby beaches. Free of charge daily pick-ups can be arranged if necessry taking you to, and back from the beach with the best wind on any given day. Our experience and local knowledge will make the difference !

Have a look at our courses and decide which is best for you. Beginners normally start with course A and progress to B and C but If you can’t find what you are looking for we can happily tailor a course to your needs.

A) Introduction to power kites : This is where everyone needs to begin. Safety and having fun are most important. Kitesurfing is all about kite flying skills and this course will teach you the fundamentals that you need to know. Subject covered include explaining basic wind theory, assembling, launching and landing a kite, using a harness, simulated board starts on land, safety and rider responsability.

Price : €100.00 duration 3 hours.

B) Kitesurfing first water course : After taking a power kite class it is time for your first water course. Take your foundation skills of kite control and combine them with larger more powerfull kites. We will start with exciting body surfing exercices and learn how to get comfortable in the water while traveling upwind. Execute water re-launching of the kite, self rescue, and pratice the proper technique to perform your first exciting starts on the board.

Price : €100.00 duration 3 hours.

C) Kitesurfing board course : This course focuses on getting onto the board and extending your ride. After completing the previous courses you will want to take this class in order to execute waterstarts in both directions and learn how to keep going with the board while controling your speed. Kitesurf, body, board, and kite position in perfect harmony.

Price : €100.00 duration 3 hours.

D) Kitesurfing private lesson : From beginners to experts private kitesurfing lessons are tailored to fit your goals and skill level. They are also a great option if you consider yourself a fast learner or have previous kite flying experience. Common kitesurfing skills also taught range from improving your upwind riding ability to various jumps, transitions or riding waves.

Price : €50.00 per hour.

E) Daily Kite Trips : If you are a competent rider and are fully independent we offer daily kite trips towards the best kitesurfing beaches on the island.The idea is for you to come along and use our equipment to ride under the supervision of an instructor who will also provide advice and safety cover if necessary. Everyday pickups are organized from your residence towards where the wind blows…

Price : €60.00 per day.
