A BLAST AT THE MIAMI KITEBOARDING MASTER 2010 this weekend !
A perfect Kitesurfing event in Crandon park. The 2010 edition of the MiamiKiteboarding Masters will remain as certainly the best competition ever ran in Crandon Park.
Blessed by a great weather and wind pretty much the whole weekend, all kitesurfers, competitors, sponsors and spectators that came to Crandon had their share of riding, adrenaline, show, spectacle and an awesome time!!
Excellent wind conditions on Saturday allowed the organizer to run 5 Course Racing , and the Freestyle Competition . Then wind again , lighter a bit , again on Sunday to complete the event with the Strapless Contest. Plus a very entertaining paddleboard relay Races with team of 3, fighting around the same course .
The Theme of this 2010 Edition being “ preserving Kitesurfing accesses and avoid bans “ It turned to be a hot topic discussed on the mic by the School managers presents at the events , who managed to pass on the right message to riders, and spectators.
The Award ceremony of the Racing and the Freestyle was done during the party at The Bayside Hut on Saturday evening.
Sunday's fun (and free) contests were awarded at Miamikiteboarding's new Kite School building right on Crandon Beach in the kayak concession.
It has been certainly one of the best event we have run in Crandon: Wind & weather, Turn out, Organization, participants from all florida, race level, and a great Spirit on the beach all weekend.
