My name is Matt DePalo.
I am from Massachusetts and I kite in Dennis on the Cape. I am sixteen years old and lived in Massachusetts all my life.
Through the school I study at, I'm sponsored by north dakine Von Zipper Kaenon EH, but available for new sponsers, I can do just about every board sport there is.
occupation I am a sophomore at Xaverian brothers high school in Westwood Massachusetts.

a bit about my self? Well, I'll do anything for fun, love to chill with friends, as far as I know I'm one of the youngest kiters in Massachusetts, I'm always extremely busy and off snowboarding kiting (whatever the season is), diving, playing lacrosse, hangout with friends and doing school work. ahh i'm never out of energy and i would kite non stop for the rest of my life if i could. i love the ocean and anything to do with it. I play guitar also.

My favorite Music is different kinds... rock, rap, hip hop, regge alternative, grunge, but I'm a big fan of foo foghters, akon, ac dc blink 182, Santana, dispatch, Dave, asher roth, basshunter,saving able Acadia, Jay - Z linkin park, atreu ( i think thats how its spelled), Bob marley, the who, zepplin, hendrix, van halen, white stripes, gorillaz, kings of leon, nickleback, coheed, counting crows, seether, disturbed, savage, t pain, eve 6, flobots, franz fredinan, the stones, incubus, iron maiden, jet, skynard, flyleaf, chilli peppers, 3 dorrs down, and many more many many more my ipod is full with like thousands of songs, and I listen to it all the time.

My main interests are Girls, kiting, guitar, cars, engines, music, parties, sunglasses, shoes, I don't watch a ton of tv, but do have some good movies I like, sleeping, and much more.

I love to eat just about anything that comes out of the ocean, dead of alive, cooked or raw, ramen, candy, mom's meatloaf, pizza,and more.

Heroes: my parents, and the pros who get to go around the world and kite for free where ever whenever they want...

My favorite kite spot is South village beach west dennis Massachusetts.

I kite since four years, including one year where I was really young and I was riding a trainer kite and skimboard.

I saw kitesurfing for the first time and knew it was for me, so I asked my dad for money to buy a set up and it was crazy expensive so I had to find another way.
I showed up everyday at the beach the local school teaches at and helped with gear and did little work stuff and was taught at the end of the day everyday. Then from there it was all down hill, I got riding the first time I ever got to fly an inflatable kite, and now I'm here.

my family supports me a hundred percent, and they love to tell people what I do and they are very proud.

The sport is everything to me. its the most fun and the biggest rush anyone will ever have, and I can't get enough of it.

My favourite tricks are Kite loops, unhooked raleighs wayyyyy out, like to attempt lots of stuff I can't do and I'll try anything. still working on the handle passes, I only land like a third of the time, but I like any type of agressive wake style move, and anything that i get to filp hang upside down or go high.

The sport,I think, demands a lot from me because I'm part of the next generation of riders, and I really try to do my part to get as many young people riding and premote all the gear and all that stuff, and I want to be good so I can go and have fun too...
