Where are you from? The cold and windy Holland

Your age? 5-8-'86

Where did you grow up?
I grow up in a small Village named Elburg close to a small lake. At that lake I discovered windsurfing. First it was just paddling around but after discovering the sail we surfed! I remember biking with my surf-car full with my board and sails against the wind and the rain to the lake. Ones we got there we had to change underneath the one big tree. But than it was time to surf. We surfed until our hands where frozen and we couldn't hold on to the boom any more.

Music? I like all kind of relaxed music like Jack Johnson. At the moment the song: I'm yours from Jason Marz is my favorite.
Interested in..? Traveling, kitesurfing and any other active adrenaline sport.

Food? Italian food! Pasts, Pizza, Tiramisu

Heroes? Kirsty Jones! she kites, surfs and windsurf amazing!

Favorite kite/surfing spots for you? Any where with nice people. I love waves but flat water is nice to. a few spots to remember are: Dom. Rep. Cabarete, Maldives Kanuhura, Italy lake Garda and of course the many flat water lakes and the north sea of Holland.

How long have you been doing this? Windsurfing since 8 years old, kitesurfing since 2007

Why kite/surfing? It is ultimate freedom. There are no limits.

What does your family think of this? I got my brother in to it. And my parents will give it a try this summer.

What does this sport mean to you? It's my life, this summer I start my own kiteschool: www.wind-riders.eu
Favorite tricks? Making nice turns on the waves, unhooked railey.
What does this sport demand of you? All my time:)

Have you ever been in an accident? No, not really. I some how parked two kites on the reef in front of kite beach, Cabarete and had to get them off it. 5 cm of water is not much to swim in...

Vision...you wishes for the future I want to learn many tricks, surf some big waves. I hope my own kitesurf school is going to be successful and a lot of fun.
I wish to see all the nice people i've met traveling the world again.

Hi,

Apologies for the random email but I came across you guys while researching extreme sports. I work for a marketing agency in London called The Lounge Group (http://www.theloungegroup.com/). One of our clients is global energy drinks brand and we are looking to pull together a small group of people from throughout Europe, Italy in your case, that can act as occasional 'social advisors' to the brand.

We want to get people who are involved in skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX, surfing, music, street art, etc. and find out what they are interested in and to help shape the brand and what it should do. Occasionally we would send you some of our designs and would like your opinion on it before it goes live. Other times we might fly you to an event and ask for your feedback on how you felt that it went and maybe say what would make it better for you. From time to time we might send you a questionnaire to fill in and email back to us or we might fly you to a central location within Europe for a day or two with the rest of the community of advisors and just get your feedback in person.

Obviously you would be paid for your feedback and we would also pay a quarterly fee to you for being part of this community. On top of that, all travel that you would do for the brand would be paid for and you will also receive branded goods and tickets to key events.

We need to recruit 6 people from Italy and I would love to have one of you guys on board. If one of you would like to be considered then please drop me an email. Please note that fluent English is essential.

We will be running telephone interviews over the next 2 weeks and will be following up with face to face interviews in the middle of December so please let me know ASAP if you would like to be considered.
