Kitesurfing girl Dominique Granger
Where are you from? I grew up and lived in Montreal pretty much all my life, except for the past 4 years.
How old are you? I am 23.
Tell me a little bit about yourself
I am a very energetic person and I enjoy small things that life gives us. I love to laugh, move, cook and eat and... kite!! I have been coaching at REAL kiteboarding in Cape Hatteras since May 2009, and I LOVE it!

What does this sport mean to you? Kiteboarding means a lot to me, and it means more every day. From a hobby, it has become a way of life, it taught me a lot on small, but important things in life. The main one is that you can't control everything, and there are some things you have to accept as they are. Also the respect of my own limits, and the respect of the elements!

How long have you been doing this? I started learning about kiting 3 years ago. It has been a long learning process for me, until I took a camp and finally got riding,in Hatteras in 2008. Three days after my first ride, I was staying upwind! I've been evolving quite well since.
What does your family think of this? Everybody is very supporting in what I do. It was quite a change of life for me in the last year and everybody has been very supportive because they know I do what I really like!

Favorite tricks
Raleys and unhooked rolls: it feels so good! I also love a good nose butter..! Riding strapless too..! I like everything!
