Kitesurfing at Angola, Cacuaco, Praia do Santiago

Best Wind Season / Type Of Wind: The best time to ride is between September to March.
In general, the wind is 8-10 knots average. Might reach 12-16 knots.
Wind come around 2pm and increase until around 5pm.
Wind is from West to East On-Shore

Water conditions: There are small waves that might be a bit tricky to get started.
water 20-25 dc.
It is an exposed beach, no trees, so bring sun-cream.

Beach Conditions / Obstacles: boat wrecks on the beach. The beach has nice sand with a bit of Angolan wastes on the beach.

Local Riders: about 15 local riders in Luanda (2005).

Other information: It is great beach for mountain-board !
Be careful, have no accidents, the local hospital is not in a very good shape...
Do not drink water from an open bottle.

Recommended Accommodations (Where to stay): Continental hotel and President Hotel in the Bay hotel. Both expensive, but to get a good price accommodation, you need to know locals.
