Kiteboarding Israel - Kiteaway Challenge 2009
Kiteboarding Israel - Kiteaway Challenge 2009 Details:
We met with Amit Inbar, the Israeli windsurfing legend and the owner of Kiteaway, the largest kitesurfing school in Israel, to discuss the most outrageous kitesurfing competition in Israel, Kiteaway Challenge.
For the past three years, Kiteaway Challenge competition has been held annually on a 450 person yacht in the heart of the Sea of Galilee.
Observers checked out the competition, attended by leading kitesurfers from Israel and around the world, all while partying on the yacht.
The idea for Kiteaway Challenge developed from Amit's constant search for new and exciting things in the world of surfing. Kiteaway was established in order to reveal the beauty of kite surfing in a unique and interesting way.
"Through the combination of the conditions in Israel, professional guidance, and top of the line equipment, we can offer the best learning environment for students", Amit explains.
In his many years of surfing, Amit became intimately familiar with the sea, the wind, the waves and the safe and harmonic connection between the surfer and the sea. Kiteaway's vision is to provide the best direction for surfers to find the most suitable equipment for them.
