Kiteboarding Antigua Caribbean Island, by Tal Navarro
I packed my equipment in the bags, packed my routine in the closet, took with me tons of excitements in a suit-case and went with Thierry to a special kitesurfing trip on the Les Belles Yacht at Antigua and Barbuda Islands...

Kiteboarding Antigua Caribbean Island was a very unexpected trip.
In the middle of my life, between working days to following the life routing, Me and Thierry were invited for an amazing yacht trip at Antigua & Barbuda Islands Kitesurfing trip, by a great friend of us, Marco Musa.
And of course, we took the invitation in two hands!
We were 8 people on his private yacht, including Cameron Dietrich, Cabrinha professional Kitesurfer and it was an amazing kite trip. 8 magical days.

Marco is having a blast! |

Thierry enjoys the perfect kite spot |
The kite surfing trip started at the Antigua Island.
Antigua is an island in the West Indies, in the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean and it is the largest from the others.
A great kite surfing spot is Jabberwock Beach, where you can find a great kite school and a comfortable safe windy kite spot.
Its a perfect place to learn how to kite, or just to enjoy and practic kite.
December through May bringing with them great conditions for a great kitesurfing session, warm wind and flat clear water.
During the summer months of July and August you can also find some windy days.
The wind direction is usually side-on which is great for all skill levels with mostly bumb and jump conditions, perfect for launching airs.

Dickenson Bay in the northwest, directly north of St. John's, is one of the island's finest beaches, with its wide strip of powder-soft sand and blissfully calm turquoise waters. This bay is another big center of kitesurfing activity on the island.
We also had kite sessions at the wild and remote Barbuda. This Island is heaven for kitesurfers.
The weather was amazing, warm, sunny and windy. We spent all day kitesurfing the amazing spot.

Green Island was one of the most beautiful spots I ever kitesurf at. We spent 2 days on this small island.
Green Island is lying off the eastern coast of Antigua. It lies close to the mouth of Nonsuch Bay. A tiny beach was perfect to set up the equipment and the wind was blowing between 18 to 22 knots, not too strong, but still good for having fun.
We had wonderful time with all the kitesurfers on the yacht...Marco, his two lovely brothers, Max and Marc-Andrea, Karina, Tommy and Cameron Dietrich.
Great hospitality, great food, great time.

It was a truly magical trip.
Thank you, Marco.
