Kite Surfing Coche , South America journey from Jeremie:
"After having spent 2 months in South of France I decided to go to south America for 2 months to be able to train again.
I am now in Coche Island in Venezuela for some training and shoot pictures of the new Ocean Rodeo Diablo !
Internet here is a little difficult here, especially with the wireless blocking all ftp upload ( which allow me to send new files on my server to update my website).
Linn and I were supposed to go somewhere else, but the windy season wasn't matching our timing so we deicided to have a look at Coche for the 3rd year in a row.
Isla Coche is a small island between Margarita and Venezuela where the wind blows off shore from a white sandy beach. During this season the wind is supposed to blow over 20 knots every day, but this year the conditions haven't been so good.
I arrived in Coche 2 weeks ago to shoot the new diablo pictures and train.
Here I met several friends while kite surfing Coche, who are also spending their winter on the island. There is not many things to do in Coche when you don't kite, but we are all staying in Brisas, a small very nice hotel right on the spot, so it is nice to hang out with everybody or go to Margarita by boat to eat sushi in Sambil, a big shopping mall.
Together with Linn, I am planing on going to Los Roques and maybe to Colombia for the 2nd month of our stay here. If you know about Los Roques, you already know how beautiful pics and videos we will be able to bring this time.
After this we will be back in Europe for a few days to plan the next big trip !
