Caye Caulker / Belize / Central America
Caye Caulker North tip.
Caye Caulker is an un-crowed spot
From November to July, Caye Caulker benefits from the constant Caribbean trade winds that assure a steady side or side on shore wind.
Strongest months : February / March / April / May
80% of the time it's side-one shore wind , the rest is straight on-shore.
With a huge shallow water lagoon it's very good for beginners.
Left side of the local kite club there is a very nice flat section.
The reef outside provide good wave section, just ask locals for where to go !
Sea Dreams Hotel right in front of the spot.
Tropical Paradise more affordable.
Small beach but the local club "Kitexplorer" is providing beach and boat assitance; half day / full day or Overnight kite trip on remotes islands around.
Mind the north tip in front of the flat section, the wall is not very far down wind.
ON the island everybody walk or cycle as there is no car !
Local rider : Rodolphe MacKeene from Takoon and Kitexplorer.
