Cameron Dietrich meets tpk in cabarete.
Thierry and I have already spent 10 days on a Yacht with the pro Cabrinha rider, Cameron Dietrich but we never got to know him on his day to day life.
Until...
During our visit at Cabarete, while chilling on the beach with a glass of Pinacolada, we bumped into Cam.
We discovered a cool, easy going guy, sweet host and of course, a great rider. But that's we knew already before ...
Cameron has a lovely apartment on the beach in Cabarete (not far from Laurel Eastman's Kite school), he rent and live in Maui but he spends most of his time living out of his board bags!
We had a lovely evening with him and Susi Mai at his place, had a local DR dinner and watched a scary movie together...
On New years eve 2009 (my B-day (-; ) we spent the night out together, drank a llloott and found ourselves dancing while the rain was pouring on our heads at Kite beach Cabarete.
Cameron is also known for his great strapless surfing style and also for his amazing kitesurfing style and movements. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico and he is a water boy since his youth.
