Where are you from? I'm from Ilhabela , Brazil. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been :)

Any kite sponsors? Who? Right now I'm on a transition between kite sponsors, I rode for Bestkiteboarding for 3 years but now we have different visions for the future so we have to go separate ways. Maui Magic will stay as one of my main sponsors.

Special achievements...? I'm very happy with my achievements in the sport, just being one of the best kiteboarders in the world it's huge for me, when I look back to my first year riding I could never imagine how far I would get...that's awesome already. On years competing I've been twice 2nd on the Pkra World Tour and 3x Brazilian Champion.

2007 Results:
1st place Venezuela
2nd place Austria
2nd place Italy
1st place Cabarete
2nd place Tarifa
2nd place Fuerteventura
2nd place Germany
9th place Brazil
2nd place Chile

Life occupation besides kite... Kiting takes pretty much all my time so whenever I'm not riding, traveling or training I try to develop other aspects of myself besides the athletic part, so I read a lot, study other languages and things like that.

Tell me a little bit about yourself I have a really hard time talking about my personality and analyzing the kind of person I am. But there are some things that I know as facts about myself, like: I'm a happy person ( and I'm very grateful for that), I put my family in front of anything else, I'm a person with good intentions and a good heart, and I try to make a difference in this world.

Music? I'm a music lover, and every moment of my day has a different theme, so I have all kinds of music on my Ipod.
Interested in..? All kinds of water sports and also snowboarding. Music. Cinema and a good book.

Food? Frozen strawberries with honey.
Heroes? My Mom. She is one of the most interesting and strong women I've ever met, everyday I learn something with her, and she taught me what's actually valuable thing in life.

Favorite kitesurfing spots for you? Ilhabela Brazil, Cumbuco ( when there is no crowd, otherwise it's impossible and Tarifa.
Places you have been kiting at... All around really, like: Brazil, Chile, USA, Canada, Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Belgium, Austria (yep, it was veeeery cold), Italy, Greece, Egypt, South Africa...

How long have you been kitesurfing? 6 year already
Why kitesurfing? I just got really hooked on it. I already surfed and snowboarded before I learned how to kite, but something on kiting got me. Being able to jump, do tricks and for a moment feel completely free in the air.....I just love it.

What does your family think of this? They support me in every way. My mom was the one who encouraged me to start competing, she financed my first competition.
What does this sport mean to you? It's my life right now.

Photobucket

Favorite tricks? Front mobe
What does this sport demand of you? It demands a lot of time away from my family and home. Most of the year I'm away from those two things that are really important for me and that's the biggest sacrifice I do for the sport.

Have you ever been in an accident? Luckily just small ones, nothing really bad. The worst that happened to me was to fall on the sand head first and hurt my neck, I had to use a neck protector for a week ad that was all.
Vision...you wishes for the future... A Self-Sustainable World, I hope one day we’ll manage to stop destroying the environment and maybe we can still save our planet.

saint martin water photos. Where is Le Galion? Le Galion is the next bay Southeast of buzzling Orient Bay on Saint Martin Island. This laid back beach is surrounded by a coral reef that serves as a protection, providing calm and shallow waters to Le Galion. Le Galion is also a popular hangout for surfing, kite-boarding, and windsurfing enthusiasts. In front of the former "Le Galion Hotel" surfing is perhaps best because of the trade winds coming along the Atlantic coast.Kiteboarding Articles 2008 caliber 2008
