REVIEW: BOW KITE VS. NON-BOW KITE
That is Cabrinha Bow Kite	That is a Non-Bow Kite (Bridles may vary)
Bow Kite: swept wing tips. Concave trailing edge	Non-Bow Kite: Straight Trailing Edge
Bow Kite: Swept wing tips and concave trailing edge allow canopy to match arc for greater efficiency.	Non-Bow Kite canopy shape does not match arc shape. Wing tips are sheeted in causing slower flight speeds.
Bow Kite: the constant curve of the leading edge allows the kite to unstick and roll into a side launch position. Wing tips are naturally raised for increased lift	Non - Bow kite: Leading edge has more contact with water. This combined with lower wing tips makes a slower relaunch
As you can see, the bow kites have many features that provide a higher level of performance, efficiency, and a relaunch second to none. From beginner to pro, all levels of riding benefit from the bow kite design. If the kite is anything less than a true Bow kite, you are not getting the full benefit of all this type of kite has to offer.
