Blast Kiteboarding is an evolving kiteboarding instruction and lessons operation based in western Puerto Rico. This side of the island is known as "Porta del Sol" and is a mecca for all kinds of water sports including Surfing, Kiteboarding, Kitesurfing, Standup Paddleboarding, Scuba Diving and Sportfishing. During the windy season from December to late August, we organize kitesurfing/ kiteboarding trips to the mangrove islands around the southwest coast, outside of La Parguera. These small keys, sitting about a mile offshore, offer the best flat water kiting on the island, and some of the best kiteboarding in the Caribbean.

The mangrove islands offshore provide a natural shelter from the consistent tradewinds. Our boats anchor downwind of these mangroves, with snacks and drinks in the shade, when you need a break from wind. Fringing reefs connect the islands and block any wind chop, creating butter smooth conditions no matter how windy it gets. Crystal clear blue-green Caribbean water constantly flushes through the channels in between the islands, reflecting the sky and clouds while you ride.

KITEBOARDING LESSONS & INSTRUCTION
Blast Kiteboarding is the only kitesurfing school in Puerto Rico outside of San Juan. We offer kiteboarding lessons and instruction excursions to the mangrove islands of Puerto Rico's southwest coast. The reef-lined mangroves 1 mile offshore La Parguera offer some of the best flatwater kiteboarding in the Caribbean.

We offer trips for all levels of kiter, experienced guides, boat rescue, and personalized instruction. There are no obstacles downwind where we teach, so it is a very safe spot for learning. Our kiteboarding school has taught 100s of locals and tourists to kitesurf, using proven methods and the latest gear by Best Kiteboarding and Jimmy Lewis Kiteboards.

Group Lessons

Daily Rate: $150.00 per person - max 4 people

Time: 11:00am - 5:00 pm

Includes: boat ride to the mangrove key's, cooler with refreshments, air fills for kites, backup dingi assistance, lesson's and coach for the day.

Private Lessons

Daily Rate: $275.00 one on one

Time: 12:00 - 5:00 pm

Includes all of the above + a coach for 3 hrs 1 on 1
