Do I rely on the advice of those who have gone before me, or simply stick with what I know and revisit a familiar haunt. Do I enjoy the reassurance of knowing what I will get for my hard earned money, or do I heed the old adage, ?Nothing ventured nothing gained?. A kite surfing holiday requires so many elements to align if you are going to get value from your investment.

Australia has long been known and embraced by the international kite community. Rumors of golden sands, warm water, bikini clad women and endless sunny days have lured many a traveller. In the past it has primarily been the Western and Southern coastal areas that have earned windy accolades from international kiters. But to gain access to the spots that provide constant 25 plus knots of trade winds and crystal clear warm water you need to make your way up the North East coast and talk to a couple of hard working Kite Surfing fanatics.

Cue Ant Hadliegh and Rob Palmer who own and operate Australian Kite Surfari. A specialized tour company based in Cairns that provides kite surfers with exclusive access to the most incredible Kite surfing destination on the planet. The trade winds in this part of Australia blast across crystal clear lagoons that lie protected behind the worlds largest living organism, the Great Barrier Reef. This region of Australia is made up of world heritage listed reef, rainforest and traditional aboriginal reserves, and due to the sensitivity of the environment special permissions are required, and Australian Kite Surfari is the only company with rights to utilize the locations.

But the relentless winds and unspoiled environment is only a small part of the equation that is drawing a growing number of local and overseas visitors. What makes the Australian Kite Surfari experience so different is the complete isolation and vast area's of coast that belong to you and nobody else. It's hard to imagine that in our crowded high pressure world that such a place still exists. The Australian Kite Surfari tours take small groups, ( between 6 to 10) kite surfers on a mystical 4 day journey to places where a 1000 miles of coast is yours and yours alone. If you want to own the wind and the waves in a place like no other then this is the adventure for you. Nestled between the oldest continually surviving wet tropical rain-forests and the Great Barrier Reef you can experience the true culture of Australia and the Kite holiday of your dreams. Ant and Rob provide freedom, hospitality and the perfect environment to get the most from the wind.

So if you dare to be different and long for an untouched and uninhabited destination with world class surroundings to power your kite surfing holiday look no further. Australian Kite Surfari has opened the door on a whole new Kite Adventure for you to enjoy. Visit the tropics of Australia and discover what the rest of the kite community is buzzing about. Whether it's the big waves of the coast of Western Australia or the warm tropical isolation of the North eastern tropics this is a country with so many options. But be warned. Many a traveler has ventured to our sunny shores with the expectation of enjoying a holiday, and then decided to stay for good. Such is the allure and lifestyle of this magical and vast land called Australia.

saint martin water photos. Where is Le Galion? Le Galion is the next bay Southeast of buzzling Orient Bay on Saint Martin Island. This laid back beach is surrounded by a coral reef that serves as a protection, providing calm and shallow waters to Le Galion. Le Galion is also a popular hangout for surfing, kite-boarding, and windsurfing enthusiasts. In front of the former "Le Galion Hotel" surfing is perhaps best because of the trade winds coming along the Atlantic coast.Kiteboarding Articles 2008 caliber 2008
