Where are you from? I am from Israel
Your age? 37
Where did you grow up? Grow up in Israel till age 12 ans since then traveling 8 month a year around the world looking for the best spots for surfing,kiting,wind surfing.

I was born in Michmoret, a small beautiful village located by the beach in the country's midland.
Most of my days were spent in the magical "play ground" of my back yard- the beach, where I learned the wonders and secrets of the sea and made my entry to the world of surfing.

Tell me a little bit about yourself
Well, a bit about my childhood:
I started surfing on his 7th birthday, the day I got a present from my parents: a surf board that very quickly became my best friend.
Hours and hours I fooled around with my new "friend" and made my first steps in learning, loving and admiring the sea.

My relationship with the sea gave him many tools for the future in becoming a true sportsman, and led me to open a great career in the wind surfing world.
Starting to gain medals…
I began to establish my place as Isreal's # 1 in the field and during my career I won the Israeli championship 7 times.
Parallel to that I was recognized world wide, and for 18 years was in the top ten best wind surfers in the world.
My total dedication through hard work and training paid up. In 1990 I was ranked #1 in the world.
I have set the next goal and dream of any athlete: the Olympics.

I am collecting trophies……
In 1992 I was ranked # 2 in the world, the following year I became # 1 in the world again.
In 1992 I fulfilled my dream and represented Israel in 1992 BARCELONA'S Olympic games.
In 1997 I repeated this great achievement and once again became Europe's champion in Greece. In this year I was ranked again # 1 in the world.

World wide recognition
I became a world wide leading figure in the wind surfing field.
Over the years, I have developed unique techniques and special training methods that are used by trainers' world wide.
I have dedicated my entire life to the sea and surf.

Only one medal is missing…
Despite all my titles and medals I did not fulfill my main dream. There was only one medal missing, a gold Olympic medal.
I started to train hard for the next Olympic: Sydney 2000.

In the year 2000 once again I participated in the Sydney Olympics.
In these games I reached the 7th place and decided to retire from competitive wind surfing and found a new passion.

Kite surfing-falling in love
My next goal was to "conquer" the kite surfing world.
Straight after Sydney 2000 I began a new exciting journey in the world of kite surfing .
I fell in love with this sport and began traveling in new continents known and unknown looking for the best sites to kite surf.
